If I was able not to give any stars I would

If I was able not to give any stars I would. Horrible service, I ordered a purse, I requested in store pick up, I never received the confirmation email of when I could pick up my order. I contacted customer service and they said it was still in process after 3 days inmade my order. I waited and a week after still didn't received the email, I tried contacting customer service ti cancel the order and the only thing they said is that I had to be patient. 10 days after I contacted them again because I was still waiting for the confirmation. The person then told me that my order had been in the store for afew days , at that time I was out of town and I asked them if they would hold the order for me until I get back since I had been waiting, then he told me that they couldn't hold my order, then they finally canceled it.
I never thought that I would have to go thru all that Hassel specially with such and important brand. The site is awful, don't buy anything thru this site, you'll regret it.

Carrot Teasing/They will not give us what we want!

The Derby and Voxxen lines I searched online were limited, hardly any left. They were the best! ----- They were the best looking shoes. Why the discontinuance? The only styles I like are almost gone, none that fit me. This company will design a new line of great shoes that are RARE GEMS and last no time. I emailed the company and they gave an ignorant excuse of not knowing what they have available. Every company should know what they have available. It seems that most of their products are boring with a few rare gems mixed in that they quit making. Please stop dangling the carrot, teasing us with one gold pair of size 8's that fits nobody!

Would give 0 stars if I could.

I ordered a pair of boots weeks ago, they still haven't shipped. They were quick to charge my card though - of course. I've contacted customer service three times (all of which they assured me the boots would ship the next day or two), well, it's been two weeks, completely useless. Their excuse was "low stock" and therefore the order was send to a different fulfillment centre. Okay, so the order has been sent to a different fulfillment centre WITH stock two weeks ago, why have they still not shipped? Feels like a scam. Your customer service is also garbage. So disappointed.

Will never shop at Steve Madden again

Ordered shoes because I was under the impression they would arrive in 3–7 business days. It's been 7 days and they still haven't shipped. Customer service will literally lie to you and tell you whatever they think you want to hear. Disgusting company.

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I ordered boots under the impression they would be shipped the next business day - as their site states. 6 days later and they still haven’t shipped. I have contacted customer service multiple times and have been lied to every time, being told the boots would ship out that day. Don’t order from this company directly.

Worst company to do business with!

Ordered shoes for my daughter with downs back on 8/11 for her birthday... She is still waiting! I called customer service and they were more than happy to cancel my order. So, if you see a big discount online... That's because you will never see your order! Ugh... I hate bad companies! A big waste of my time! And a very disappointed birthday girl! Ugh

Open box

I place a order for maxima 8 for a gift for a family member my 1st order was canceled re order them again I just got them today with a surprise that look like someone try them on and put them back on the box the inside off the box looks like a mess. I call customer service give me 1 option send a replacement but I need it to send this other ones back need it print return label so I have to take my own time to do all off this keeping in mind that this Shoes were yo give them away this weekend ask replacement if I can just return them to a Steve madden store they say no. I will never recommend to any one to make online purchases from this store

They gave me one shoe

I ordered these cute shoes off of steve madden for rush and they only shipped me a left shoe because that was the only one they had left. It is absurd that they only sent one shoe instead of emailing me and saying they were out of stock or changing the status on their website to out of stock. Then when I called to confront them they were rude and did not help out at all. Overall, horrible service and not well taken care of.

Terrible experience

Had an unbelievable experience after being a loyal customer here since a teenager (I’ve easily spent thousands collectively here)…. I purchased a pair of shoes directly from their website and was sent a pair that had already been worn. No proper packaging, they were dirty, dull, had a scuff, and have certainly been walked around in quite a bit. Upon emailing customer service 2 times and calling and explaining the situation and sending several photos, I was told They no longer have the shoes in stock to send me a new pair, but they gave me 20% off my purchase. Discount or not, it is unacceptable to order what you assume will be brand new shoes from a trusted company and receive a second hand pair. The company was not very apologetic and didn’t seem very concerned with my experience.
Safe to say my days of shopping at Steve Madden are over.

Is Steve Madden a scam or a legit company?

It's a legit company, but they are very unorganized and don't hire appropriate associates to deal with any customer issues/complaints. I would do extensive research before ordering online. Their in store service is moderate.

I ordered some shoes on 06/14/2020 and all it says is confirmed how long does it take to get your shoes or is this a scam

It used to take less than a week from ordering to get your shoes. As of late, their warehouse coffeemaker must be broken or their staff are underpaid and miserable because, the orders aren't being shipped. Order from Steve Madden if a) you appreciate the element of surprise: will your shoes arrive? Will they be the size you ordered?; or b) considering ordering a style you anticipate preferring a year or so from now, or maybe never.
